“Year’s end is neither an end nor a beginning but a going on, with all the wisdom that experience can instill in us.”
I think everyone should think about this on New Years.
“Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.”
I stole this one from my ever wise husband. I love it!
” A good cook is like a sorceress who dispenses happiness.”
I absolutely love this quote! I truly believe this and live by it. One of the most satisfying things to me in the world is feeding my family a delicious and healthy meal and watching them enjoy it!
“Happiness is never stopping to think if you are.”
I could learn a lot from this one. I am definitely one of those people that is too in their head. Time to get out and enjoy life!!!!
“That man is richest whose pleasures are cheapest.”
Henry David Thoreau
This hit it on the head. Think about the times you were truly the happiest. How much did it cost? One of my happiest memories was when my husband and I pulled out “megafort” and had a super snuggle party with Aiden and the pups. We spent all day laughing, watching family movies and just snuggling. Priceless!
